My sculptures are the result of more than 25 years of ethnographic-conceptual and technical research on porcelain, colors and translucency.
I use ancient mosaic and inlay techniques with pigmented porcelain body.
They are long processes that require several passages through the fire, they require patience and time that give me serenity and a feeling of harmony.

…My history and that of my works begins with the Afro-Caribbean heritage received from my father and the Andean mountains from my mother. In our family we have always experienced magic as if it were normal in reality.
This Magical Realism has influenced my work that lives between two seas.
